✅ It is positive that it is the ambition to position the agri-food sector as a strategic sector and to further strengthen its competitiveness, but the vision falls short on concrete actions and support for the food industry to achieve the ambition to remain the world leader in food 🍽️ #innovation 💡.
😔 IMACE regrets that the vision lacks a holistic food value chain approach and does not explicit the need to transition towards more sustainable 🌍 plant-based diets 🌿 as recommended in the Strategic Dialogue on the Future of EU Farming.
📍 The vision sets a direction of travel 🧭 and now it needs to be turned into actions and policies that foster #innovation 🚀, #sustainability 🍃 and #competitiveness 📈 of the #food sector.
