š A prospective population-based cohort study, recently published in JAMA š„, shows that higher intake of butter is associated with increased mortality ā ļø, while higher plant-based oils intake was associated with lower mortality ā . Substituting butter with plant-based oils may confer substantial benefits for preventing premature deaths.
