IMACE Board changes

As we begin a new year, we would like to announce several important changes within the IMACE Board, marking both a moment of gratitude and the start of a new chapter for the association.

๐๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ค๐๐ฅ, Chief Experience & Technology Officer at Flora Food Group, is stepping down as IMACE President after six years of outstanding leadership. During his mandate, John brought stability, professionalism and strong consensus-building skills, successfully guiding IMACE through periods of change and challenge. We warmly thank him for his dedication and leadership.

At the same time, after many years of valued service, ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฒ๐ง๐๐๐ฅ, Managing Director Plant-Based Food Solutions at Vandemoortele, is also stepping down from the IMACE Board. Known for his sharp insights and constructive, expert approach, Bart made a significant contribution to IMACEโs work and governance. His guidance will be sincerely missed.

Looking ahead, ๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ง, Chief Corporate Affairs and Communications Officer at Flora Food Group, has been elected as the new IMACE President. With more than 15 years of experience in strategic advisory and corporate affairs, and a strong background in stakeholder engagement and EU-level positioning, Herman will play a key role in guiding IMACE through its next phase.

In addition, we are delighted to welcome ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐ as a new IMACE Board member representing Vandemoortele Lipids. With over ten years at the Vandemoortele Group in senior roles across R&D, operations and general management, and currently Managing Director of the Business Line Plant-Based Food Solutions, Helena brings strong strategic and technical expertise to the Board.
