The Technical Secretariat (TS) is pleased to announce the launch of the open consultation for the development of the Shadow Margarine & Spreads PEFCR.

In response to the growing demand for transparent and harmonised environmental footprint calculations, IMACE โ€“ the European Margarine Association โ€“ has commissioned the development of a robust framework for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of margarine, in line with the European PEF method.

The public consultation aims to ensure that the guidelines are technically sound, representative and applicable for sector stakeholders and LCA practitioners. All interested stakeholders are invited to review the draft documents and provide feedback.
